Bring the entire family for an afternoon journey into the art and origins of blues music. Enjoy a free reading of Blues Journey by premier children’s book author Walter Dean Myers who will be accompanied by the musical interpretations of Mike “Lightnin” Wells, a renowned North Carolina folk and blues musician who has been at the forefront of traditional blues revival music.
